No TV, Internet or hi-tech devices….all Indochina brings out is the finest vacation for its guests to indulge themselves in the natural wonder of the world.
Indochina Sails owns a luxurious restaurant at their private port in the heart of Ha Long. While waiting for check in, I can see both domestic and international guests, visiting the restaurant. After the cruise welcomes guests on board, weighs anchor and steams off to the high seas, another people come. Being one of the largest fleet on Ha Long Bay, Indochina Sails are always full of guests every afternoon.
The boat features 15 luxurious, well appointed cabins designed with rich wooden interior featuring lotus flowers in silk curtains, pictures of Vietnamese villages, simple vases or luxuriant linens and marble bathroom, combining with Western comforts. Each is polished uniquely. Sea view restaurant and bar are ideal places for unwinding and enjoying the stunning wonder. Sundeck is also a place of pleasure. In spite of the cold weather, many tourists are lying on the deck to witness the bay while sipping a cup of hot tea. Especially, the boat also offers its guests unusual spa services.
I used to think that it would be very affected to go on board such a small ship. Beyond my imagination, careful schedules will you a relaxed and interesting trip. After lunch, we go mountain climbing at Titop Island while some other guests are interested in Cua Van fishing village and some others like to sail a kayak at sea. Evening is the best time of us. I remember exciting faces of foreigners when they make spring rolls themselves and enjoy their dishes. Especially, you can indulge yourself in the romantic and polite ambiance with sparking candlelit and a cup of red wine of your dinner. Other boats on the bay are also serving their meals.
I fall into the peaceful sleep, waiting for the following morning to experience many other activities. In the next morning, after having breakfast and taking Taichi, we have chance to visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most magnificent caves on Halong Bay.
When the cruise moors and prepares to welcome other guests, a fellow passenger of mine has happily told her family about her memorable vacation. Travelers regretfully get off the boat after the fantastic trip. What about you? Do you wish to feel what we have experienced on this cruise?
