Hanoi’s Ethnology Museum is located about half an hour’s drive from the city centre. It’s a large modern building imaginatively designed and located in attractive gardens.
It’s devoted to all aspects of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, and is considered the best museum in Vietnam. A more detailed description can be found in ‘Hanoi’s Museums’A reasonable visit is likely to take more than a couple of hours. With the travelling time added, it will take up a full morning or afternoon.
