Sunflower Hotel (local standard)

Our brief comments:
The seven-storey Sunflower distinguishes itself from the similar Prince Hotel by its exterior decor, a bilious shade of violet. It is located in the centre of Cat Ba town, a short walk from the seafront, and has 60 rooms.

In common with all hotels on the island, it caters mainly for budget/backpacker visitors. Rooms and public areas are fairly spartan, furniture is basic and floors are tiled. However, it's clean, tidy, and friendly. All rooms have balconies, some with reasonable views of the harbour.
